With a strong foundation in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and governance, he has advised and litigated on complex corporate and commercial disputes, earning a reputation for strategic problem-solving and risk mitigation. His experience extends to corporatization, privatization, and investment structuring, ensuring businesses operate with legal precision and commercial agility.

Bazlan's consultancy expertise is built on extensive experience across government-linked initiatives and corporate transformation projects. He has advised on legal and policy frameworks for the Penang and Terengganu state governments, as well as the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC). 

As a Panel Advisor to the Malaysian Government for the Bumiputera Retail and Entrepreneurship Development Scheme (PROSPER), he played a pivotal role in structuring business growth initiatives and financial frameworks, working alongside TPPT Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Bank Negara Malaysia) and Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad (PUNB). His appointment as a MARA Council Member in 2018 reflects his leadership in policy advisory and corporate governance.
